kramA : Sanskrit for Order, sequence.
Lalgudi : A district in South India, made famous by Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman, a great carnatic violin artiste. Used synonymously to him.
Lalgudi Jayaraman : A great Indian carnatic violinist, composer, musician and musicologist. 
LGJ : Abbreviation for Lalgudi G Jayaraman
melakArthA : A classification of a carnatic raga. 
MS Subbulakshmi : A great south Indian carnatic female vocalist. Honoured with the highest civilian award for service to music by Indian Govt.
Mudduswamy Dikshitar : A great composer of Carnatic Music. One among the Trinity of Indian Music. 
nAdaswaram : A south Indian classical/folk instrument. 
Nedunuri Krishnamurthy : A great carnatic male vocalist.
PurandaradAsA : A great saint composer, considered the father of carnatic music.
